With the men’s international weekend creating a pause in the Premier League and EFL calendars, The FA encourages supporters to capitalise on the opportunity to back Women’s Football Weekend and attend a women’s match at any level in the pyramid.
This is now an annual event and highlights the growing
popularity of the women’s game, with matches often played at the main stadiums of the men's teams.
It has returned this season from 23-24 March.

To showcase Women’s Football Weekend, Everton and Liverpool players gathered at Radio City tower in the city centre this week.
I spoke to Everton goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan, who hopes she has a quiet afternoon but is wary of Liverpool’s threat from set-pieces.
“Since I moved to Liverpool, you can tell how much Everton means to the people and the community here,” she added.
“Being able to put on that shirt, to be able to represent the badge - that means a lot to me and there’s no bigger occasion than to play in a Merseyside derby.
“We have great staff at Everton. We do loads of analysis on everything and set-pieces is definitely something we’ve highlighted.
“We know they have a few players that are really good in the air and they have good deliveries so I think it’s such a big part we have to be prepared for.”
Liverpool midfielder Ceri Holland told me the derby “means absolutely everything” to the fans.
“The amount of pride and passion in the fixture is fantastic. We know what is expected of us and what it means to our fans,” she said.
“We will go out there and give absolutely everything. In previous fixtures, we’ve maybe not given the fans the results they deserve. Hopefully we can put that right."

Everton boss Brian Sorensen makes two changes from the side that suffered defeat by Aston Villa.
Elise Stenevik is suspended, while Martina Piemonte drops to the bench. In comes Emma Bissell and Heather Payne.
Sorensen has an extensive injury list but there's a return to the bench for Katrine Veje which will be a boost.
Matt Beard makes three changes to the Liverpool side who beat West Ham in their last match.
There's a big absentee with full-back Emma Koivisto not in the squad - presumably through injury.
That means 19-year-old Lucy Parry steps in, alongside Liverpool academy graduate Missy Bo Kearns and Fuka Nagano.
